For 10 years (1999 up to the
present), I have overall responsibility
in directing, planning, supervising,
monitoring, training and evaluating the
National Environmental Health program in
Oman, which includes Malaria
Eradication, Occupational Health,
industrial work related injury
surveillance, conduct / review the
Environment Impact Assessments (E.I.A.)
of major industries in Oman on behalf of
Ministry of Health

Active member in more than
16 high level national committees on
Environmental Health issues on policy /
regulations / law-drafting on
occupational health, chemical control /
poison control, disaster management,
water sanitation, waste management,
malaria, and vector control management,
etc.

Done a number of
consultancies in Environmental Health
for the WHO / United Nations.
