Overall goal of the conference:
The overall
goal of this conference is to exchange experience among
experts, junior, and senior staff working in the filed
of occupational health and safety as well as those
interested in promotion of health in the workplace.
Objectives:
The
objectives of this conference include:

Raise
awareness of the participants about the current global
occupational health initiatives of both the World Health
Organization and the International Labor Office.

Orient the
attendees about the current occupational health
strategies adopted in the gulf countries.

Update the
participants about the current situation of hepatitis C
in Kuwait and the adopted policy of Kuwait to fight this
disease at the level of workplace as well as the
community.

Develop
skills of analyzing and implementing risk analysis
approach, managing sickness absence, and developing
workplace health promotion programs.
Target audience:
Medical staff
in all workplaces, primary health care workers, health
and safety personnel, public health staff, industrial
hygienists, health planners at the medium and large
establishments, work employers, non governmental
organization staff, and those interested in safety and
health legislation.
